"We wanted to sell spice the way our own kitchens always have — whole, freshly ground, nothing hidden."
Where It Started
Bervio started with a simple frustration: most spice powder on the shelf had been sitting there for months, cut with fillers and anti-caking agents you can't pronounce. We wanted to sell spice the way our own kitchens always have — whole, freshly ground, nothing hidden.
We work directly with growers and mandis across Rajasthan for our chillies, coriander and turmeric, and mill everything in small batches out of Jaipur — usually within days of an order going out, not months before.
Today, Bervio makes lal mirch powder, dhania powder, haldi powder, and a growing line of house-blended masalas — each one tested in our own kitchens before it reaches yours.
How We Work
We buy from growers and mandis ourselves — no unnecessary layers between the farm and our mill.
We grind what we can sell within weeks, not what's cheapest to stockpile for months.
No anti-caking agents, no colour, no fillers. What's on the label is what's in the packet.
Sourcing, milling and packing all happen at our own facility in Jaipur.
